This artwork titled "Selfie" is an expression of materialism in the modern world and obsession with materialism and consumerism when in essence we are all just made of substances and materials worried about how we appear but forgetting the things that truly matter. Sadly many chase riches in exchange for quality of life until their death and never thoroughly satisfied with the outcome. The Skull is a reminder of what we are when everything is stripped off and we're all the same underneath. The use of the chopped up underwear to construct the skull is an allegory of the fact that's what we are "underneath" all of our layers.
